The Government of Maharashtra aimed to revolutionize education and information access for students. GAATHA (Shiksha) is a self-service vending machine that provides educational materials, government information, essential resources, stories, and poetries, ensuring easy access to knowledge.

Our goal was to develop an intuitive, self-service platform that seamlessly delivers educational resources and government information through an interactive vending machine. The challenge was to ensure ease of use for diverse users while integrating digital content with physical infrastructure.
Our goal was to design engaging and interactive solutions that simplify complex topics, ensuring clarity, compliance, and a seamless learning experience for every participant.
PROJECT INTRODUCTION
The aim was to create an interactive and accessible platform that delivers educational materials, government information, essential resources, stories, and poetry. With a focus on intuitive design and seamless navigation, the platform enhances user engagement while ensuring easy access to knowledge and services.
Approach
A research-driven approach enabled the collaborative definition of GAATHA’s features, enhancing user experience and optimizing both design and functionality. Along with seamless access to educational and public resources, the initiative also promotes sustainability by incorporating paper recycling efforts.
Discovery
The process began with in-depth UX research, focusing on mapping user journeys to refine functionality and accessibility. Wireframes were then developed to define visual and technical requirements, ensuring a structured and efficient development approach.
To enhance access to educational content and public information, a digital solution was developed to seamlessly deliver study materials, government services, essential resources, stories, and poetry. This self-service platform bridges the gap between technology and education, making knowledge more accessible while also promoting sustainability through paper recycling initiatives.
